چکیده | ||

Quality of urban life (QoUL) is an important component of satisfaction with the general living conditions and has wide consequences in cities. The mental quality of urban life arises from the objective characteristics of urban environment. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the level of quality of urba life with an integrated assessment method of objective-subjective indicators based on the level of satisfaction with the fulfillment of needs. The research method is descriptive-analytical and survey. The sample size is equal to 378 people of Shterban population, which is obtained through Cochran's formula. In this paper, the method used to assess the quality of life in urban areas is based on taking into account the basic needs of residents in the Shotorban neighborhood of Tabriz, which is derived from the Max-Nef Human Development Scale model. Because the quality of urban life is a multifaceted concept and in this regard should be thoroughly studied using an integrated approach. Data analysis was performed with SPSS software. As a result, with the integrated assessment of quality of life in Shotorban neighborhood, it was found that the level of satisfaction is 6 out of 10 indicators used at an average level (50%) and above. 4 indicators are close to and below the average level (50%) of satisfaction, which in the end, the overall score of the integrated assessment was equal to (52.51%), which shows that the level of satisfaction with the quality of life in Shotorban neighborhood is at a moderate level.
